I found more about this subject after I went myself to specialist in career counselor.
This process is based on an old but still used theory. The father of career counselling is Frank Parsons. Is the first counselor that opens a career counselor office in Boston at the beginning of the first half of the 20 century.
According to Frank Parsons the career counselling process happens in 3 steps:
1. The first step is making a self analyze of our own person: qualities, interests, ambitions, resources and limits and find out more about them.
2. Getting to know what success means for us and what are the conditions that we must achieve to have success.
3. Understanding the relation between the two realities: the client and the desired position; finding an optimal strategy to have success.
This is only a short part of career counselling process.
